• Create a bright, cheerful, and clean environment

• Open curtains, turn on lamps, and ensure lots of lighting in dark areas

• Ensure the home smells fresh and welcoming by adding fresh fruits and flowers

• Make all the beds and add decorative pillows

• Put unnecessary furniture or decorations away and de-clutter each room

• Ensure all towels are clean with fresh soap
